The Department of Information Technology at Sasi Institute of Technology & Engineering is a hub of innovation and learning. The Department of Information Technology wasestablished in 2006 with an intake of 60; now the present intake is 120.
The Teaching learning and assessment process is outstanding through both traditional and innovative techniques. The Department organizes guest lectures, seminars, workshops and value added courses to fit for immediate industry needs. The Department also organizes National level
technical fests for students and faculty development programs for faculty to improve the student/faculty interaction with outside world.
The department supports students and faculty in successful completion of online courses from reputed organization like NPTEL, AWS Academy, Eduskills and coursera etc. The department has student chapters in various professional societies like CSI, ACM and IEEE and each student chapter organizes activities like Technical Symposiums, Hackathons under professional society. PO1 Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
PO2 Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
