ITL & ICT

As per the continuous improvement policy, Principal instructed Dr. Sohel Rana to work on the roadmap for the solutions on issues related to Information & Communication Technology (ICT) & Innovative Teaching Learning (ITL). Based on it he extensively studied, researched and reviewed the existing structure with available literature and prepared a process which included the integration of ITL & ICT. Mr. Punnaiah Yentrapati, Assoc. Prof. AS&H fromEnglish department completed the proof reading of document.

Eventually the process was accepted by the higher authorities and a new stream under Dean- IT & ICT is established.

Message from the Dean

This is the right time to initiate the usage of innovative and non-conventional teaching methodologies using digital platforms to cope up with the psychology of new generation which is more inclined towards the online culture. Updating teaching methodologies by experimenting with new ways and styles in teaching is a quality of good the teachers. There are various top institutions using the ICT as part of teaching learning process [R-1]* We have a good infrastructure using projectors in most of the classrooms at SASI. Now, we have a target to take our methodologies to the next levels with digital learning to justify the outcome-based education (OBE) at SASI. References can be accessed from the detailed process document available in the file given below.

Based on the research and study done, we had proposed the formation of new wing to address the combination of ICT & ITL with a rich website to address the current issues and to highlight all the good practices coming out of it under the position of new Dean [ILT & ICT].

We have done a decent work in previous semester using innovative teaching learning methods in classrooms and conducted a faculty orientation program on same. Please refer Need & Necessity & Roles and Responsibilities of DEAN- ITL & ICT from process document given in* in the file given below.
