About
Entrepreneurship Development Cell was established at Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering on 11th July, 2013 for the purpose of encouraging the students to consider self- employment as a career option, provide training in Entrepreneurship through designed technical and managerial courses. The cell organizes different activities and events to train and motivate the students on entrepreneurship development.

- To become a novel and renowned center of excellence for entrepreneurship development programmes.
Mission
- To train and develop the students community to be a successful entrepreneurs towards their contribution for healthy and prosperity of our nation.
Objectives
The Cell had sought to develop and improve entrepreneurial skills to start small and medium scale industries. The EDC considered as a part of the Institution Policy which was articulated in the Vision and Mission of Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering. Students should contribute their knowledge for the Economic and Social Development of the construction of strong industrial country with the following important objectives:
- To identify and train potential entrepreneurs in the institute.
- To motivate the entrepreneurial instinct and zeal among the students fraternity.
- To develop necessary knowledge and skills among the interested budding entrepreneurs.
- To help in analyzing the various options to select the most appropriate product suiting to the Entrepreneur and the market.
- To give a clear picture about the process and procedures involved in setting up small scale Industrial unit or ancillary unit.
- To develop various businesses related skills of marketing, quality management production, distribution and human resource management etc.
- To make the potential entrepreneurs know about the possible risks and failures of the project and make them learn how to overcome these problems.
- To develop team building, technology up-gradation, growth and above all broad vision about the business.
- To develop a passion for integrity, honesty and industrial discipline.
- To formulate the detailed feasibility and viability Project Report.
