SASI Institute of Technology and Engineering has repute of placing students in good corporate with it's extended support of training and placement wing since it's establishment. Graduates of SITE are highly regarded by employers from industry, commerce and the public sector due to the inputs that were provided by the institution .
Offering information, advice, guidance and job-seeking support for students is considered a primary responsibility at SITE. |
| Career Advisers are available to discuss ideas and plans, and students are encouraged to attend the wide range of talks, information fairs and recruitment events offered. |
| A separate centre, with a well-equipped conference training room and separate well-furnished rooms for interviews and counseling, has been set up and permanent training staff appointed to work with a full-time Dean. Encouraging students to hone their skills in industry that excels in a global marketplace has always been SITE's aim. |
| With this goal in mind, the Training and Placement (T'n'P) Centre: |
- Arranges for in-plant industrial training for students during their course ware and vacations;
- Encourages students to become entrepreneurs, through Entrepreneurship Development Programmes;
- Promotes career counselling through guidance lectures by senior corporate executives;
- Trains students to face competitive exams like GATE, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL and organises campus interviews for pre-final and final year students with industries and business houses of repute from all over India, and prepares them for the interviews. The T'n'P Centre will shortly enlarge the scope of campus interviews. It will also set up a separate library to help graduating students plan their future.

The T'n'P Centre is constantly in touch with prospective employers to ensure that they consider SITE students whenever there are job opportunities. On-campus interviews and career fairs are the regular features at SITE.

SPECIAL FEATURES |
One of the main responsibilities of the T'n'P Centre is to motivate, and prepare students for interviews at prospective workplaces. Careful and systematic preparation is initiated and sustained. Mock Aptitude Tests, Psychometric Tests, Group Discussions and Personality Development Tests are conducted by professionals
Many books are available in the main library to help students prepare for interviews. Video sessions on interviews and group discussions are conducted by T'n'P |
